What a Difference a Year Makes

A year ago today Sonya and I met in Cullman for Ana Claire and Katie Lin to meet for the first time. Ana Claire was walking and Katie Lin was crawling. They could only say a couple of words. We come home from China in February and Sonya and Katie Lin come home in March.
For months before the girls were placed in our arms, we had anticipated this day. The adoption process is how Sonya and I became friends. The more we talked the more we realized just how much we had in common.
We decided a while back that we would try our best to get the girls together on the anniversary of their first meeting.
Ana Claire and I made a trip to Decatur for a party and to meet our dear friends Sonya and Katie Lin. We grabbed lunch and took it to the park for a picnic and let the girls play.
Today they ran and played. They both are chattering up a storm. It is amazing how much they have both changed. Lisa
