It is so HARD to believe

Then and Now

It has been three years ago today since we got "the call" that all adoptive parents wait for. I will never forget where I was or what I was doing. I immediately called Tom to let him know that we had a Spice girl. She was residing in a little town called Yuanling, Hunan. Later we would learn that she was in foster care. We quickly made a plan to check the boys out of school. We all wanted to see her little face together for the first time. My, how times flies when you are having fun. It is so hard to believe that it has been three years. I feel so honored that God chose our family to raise this precious little girl. She has brought alot of spice into our life. As she laid their sleeping this morning I just looked at her and thanked God for our little Sleeping Beauty.

It's so fun to reflect back on that exciting time, and to see how far she has come and how much she has grown, isn't it?
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Laine

Oh, how happy.... she is so darling and that smile had to make your heart weep for joy. I love hearing the stories of "THE Call" and Gotcha Day.... It always takes me back to ours as well. So happy for you and your beautiful, precious, daughter.

So this is how the fairy tale begins! I am so happy for you and your family. I pray everyday that all the waiting families get 'the call'--especially my Sara. I, selfishly, want to do all the grandma things with Mya!
Many more blessings to your family and all those who venture here.
