Forgive me, Proud Momma has to brag

Please forgive me but I have to brag on Ana Claire. Today while Ana Claire and I were sitting in the den, she asked me how to spell Momma. I told her letter by letter, not really paying attention to what she was doing. A few seconds later she held up her coloring book and told me to look at what she had written. It is the top photo in the collage. Well tonight I was telling her brother and his friend what she had done. They didn't really believe me, so I asked her to show them. The bottom photo is what she wrote the second time. I am just so proud of her. She has taken an interest in learning her letters and writing them, but I had no idea she could really write a word.
The Princess is ready to go and meet her brother for his doctor's appt. She had to sit and play her Leapster until it was time to go. She loves this game.
I snapped these shots of this handsome young man this afternoon. Oh wait a minute, that is my son Josh walking up to meet us for his appt. He is really growing up too quick!

That is great! Her writing looks wonderful for her age. She is going to be very artistic I bet.

Impressive!! Reminds me of my oldest (now 13!) writing & reading early was her 'thing'. Not my next one though... and Sophia? I haven't even shown her her letters yet. I think I'm getting more relaxed as we go along!

Handsome boy you have there! Great smile! Note to self: will have to keep my oldest away from your blog... (wink ... wink...)
