This little monster might look scary but he has a heart of gold.
I am a scary monster that is plain to see.
But even though I look Ferocious don't be afraid of me.
For is my heart is bursting with love.
I am as sweet and gentle as a dove.
My scary looks are such a fright.
I have tha perfect job to do at night.
I will stand guard in your bed
And make sure only good dreams come into your head.
All I ask of you to do is give me a big hugand maybe a kiss too.

This Nightmare Monster was imagined by my friend's four year old daughter.
She went to her mom with a drawing of a monster and she said "He is a good monster that scares away bad dreams." You can see a photo of her drawing in the collage above.
Her mom is an artist and together they created this sweet monster. They are each unique in its own way and has a cute little heart on his bum.

Oh my word...we have been having a hard time the last couple of nights with Elijah. He has been turning on all of his lights and saying that he is scared. This is just what I need.
