Ana Claire turns "5"

Opening gifts

It is really hard to believe that my baby turned five today. It is so hard to believe that in a blink of an eye she is five. As I was watching her today, I couldn't help but think about her birth mother and wonder if she was thinking of the baby girl that she gave up five years ago. What I wouldn't do to have five minutes with her to let her know how this little girl has blessed our lives in so many ways. She has made my heart whole.
Last night when she went to bed she told me she wanted to go eat Chinese today, but when she woke up this morning she told me she changed her mind. She wanted cheese dip and salsa. So we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant. She has another celebration next weekend.
Happy Birthday to our sweet baby girl!
We love you Ana Claire!

Update: I got her baby doll from here. The doll has Ana Claire's name on her tummy, with the Bible Verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Her precious little Chinese takeout outfit came from Robin.

Happy Birthday to sweet AnaClaire!!! I can't believe she is 5! When I first started reading your blog she was so little. Your post was so lovely. AC is such a gorgeous little girl and I am sure is equally beautiful on the inside.

I think we have soul sisters, as Paige's two fav. foods is Chinese and chips and cheese dip/salsa!

Hugs!

Happy Birthday!! Grace just turned 4 last month, but she keeps asking me, "Am I 5 yet?" 5 is such an important year, and I hope you are blessed as you journey through your youth.

Hi I love her name. Believe it or not your daughter and I share the same exact name! ;] My mom named me Ana after her youngest sister and Claire was after my grandmother on my dad's side. I too am 25% Chinese the other 75%Filipino. Who would have thought i would share the same name 30 years later. ;] Happy Birthday to her. I stumbled on your blog cuz i was checking to see what kind of information would come up for my name. Again beautiful name!
