Beautiful day at the park

Thursday was an absolutely beautiful day here in the south. Ana Claire and I met a friend in Old town Helena. She wanted to take some photos of her. I snapped a few myself. Afterwards, we went to McDonald's for lunch and off to the park to walk around and feed the ducks. It felt so good to be outside and feel the sun shining down on us.

Which would you choose, popcorn or freeze dried fish with sesame seeds? Ding, ding, ding, Ana Claire chose the freeze dried fish over popcorn. We discovered this tasty little treat at the Asian food market. I will say they are pretty tasty over fried rice, but AC loves to eat them right out of the container for a snack.

The Ragland's came over last night to let Ana Claire and Hannah Grace play. They had alot of fun. We put in AC's gymnastics dvd and the girls went wild. As you can see they had had a ball.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Just a few random shots from today. Ana Claire has finally taken an interest in reading books. I caught her today sitting in her chair reading to her baby. I had to grab the camera and take a few photos.

We didn't take photos until after dinner and some of the families had to leave before having a group photo made. There were so many beautiful children there tonight. We had a great time meeting families from our area that have also adopted.

Birthdays

Birthdays seem to roll around once a year whether you want them to or not. Today was mine. I enjoyed a nice dinner with my family tonight. It was very nice. As the boys get older the time that we spend with them is very precious. Thank you Tom, Josh, Clay and Ana Claire for making me feel special today. I love you very much!

Trip to China

Tom received a phone call today to let him know that it is about time for him to travel to China.

We have been anticipating this call for a few months now. The company that he works for is sending him to oversee a project they are working on. He will travel to Weifang, Shandong.

I would love to have the opportunity to travel with him to go back to Ana Claire's homeland. This will not be possible at this time. So I will stay home to take care of the kids. Darn it. We do hope to travel back as a family when Ana Claire gets older and can remember the trip. We want to take her back to the city she is from and hope to visit the orphanage that she was taken to until she was placed in foster care. We want her to be proud of her heritage and culture.

Please keep Tom in your prayers as he prepares for his journey. Please pray for me that I don't pull all of my hair out while he is gone. LOL

Weekend with friends

Ana Claire's friend Katie Lin celebrated her third birthday this weekend. We had a great time helping her celebrate.

We also visited the Ragland's this weekend. Josh, Clay and Ana Claire all had a great time playing with Hannah Grace.

The Ragland's are home from China

While we were waiting for their plane to come in we had a chance to meet Zoey Kemp and her parents.

This afternoon we went to the airport to see our friends the Ragland's come home with their daughter Hannah Grace. I was crying with tears of joy when I saw Stephanie walking in with her baby girl. This family has come full circle and at the end of their journey they are now a family of three. God is so awesome.

Ana Claire was so excited to see Hannah Grace and give her a gift. I think she was even more excited to see her Greggy. Most people know that AC doesn't go to many men, but she loves Greg. It will be interesting to see how well she handles sharing his affection with Hannah Grace. Greg and Stephanie have helped spoil Ana Claire over this past year as they waited to bring home Hannah Grace.
